Located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, the Hawaiian Islands attract more then 4 million visitors a year. Hawaii's popularity as a vacation destination is due to the sunny climate, volcanoes, mountains, beaches, warm ocean water, exotic flowers, tropical vegetation and a finely-tuned travel and tourism industry. Tourist attractions and facilities are found on Oahu, Hawaii, Kauai, Maui and Molokai. Hawaiian cruises operate year-round, often with a seven-day cruise of the islands. Air/cruise packages provide air to Honolulu, the port of departure and return. There are also departures from West Coast ports, such as San Diego or Ensenada. These are desirable for people who like "days at sea" because it adds four to five days to the cruise.
